Important information for selecting the best dining set for YOUR needs:

• Consider all the ways you plan to use the set, everyday dining, holiday dinners with family, social dinners with friends, or just as a work surface for games or learning.   Choose the table size and number of chairs to meet your maximum seating needs.  If your needs vary a lot, consider extension tables with several  fills that can accommodate larger groups when needed.

• Almost all tables today have solid or veneer wood tops, but if you  will be using the table for everyday dining, particularly with young children, consider tables with faux finishes or smooth, un-grooved, tops that will be easier to keep clean, and wood seat chairs, or cleanable seat covers.

• If some of the potential users are heavier, or like to lean back in chairs, look for sturdy chairs with long legs and leg support stretcher bars for extra strength.
